Working With Rails

I am a former avid independent game developer that switched over to the web development area during college. My pre-web days consisted of primarily C++ with an emphasis on artificial intelligence algorithms and their implementations in 3D environments.

I currently work as the Director of Web Development for an online book sales company. The site is written in both PHP and Ruby, integrating more and more components into Rails.

I am a very avid believer in Rails and while I do not have the experience in Ruby or Rails that I have in pure PHP or C++, I’m very excited and dedicated in learning as much as possible about the framework and hope to contribute in some way to help make Rails even better and more widely used.

I am currently heading multiple Rails-driven projects, including the continued development of WoW Radio and the integration of Ruby on Rails development into the Open Source Bespin editor.
