Job Overview To support our ambitious growth, we are looking for a Ruby on Rails Developer who will thrive in a start-up environment. We are looking for a hands-on person who takes pride in developing useful, innovative and scalable web applications. You will be part of one of our agile product teams where PMs, designers and developers are working closely together in a SCRUM process. We strongly believe in Test-Driven Development, have reached a mature level here and achieved a good coverage. Your responsibilities will be: • Work with product managers on architecting new features • Support in building prototypes • Implement user stories • Write test code • Work on scalability and operations chores • Bugfixing (of course ;-)) • Evaluate technologies and 3rd party components • Keep up to date with new developments and proactively suggest improvements regarding technology, standards, best practices Required Skill Experiences The ideal candidate will have the following skills: • Ruby on Rails (Or experience in a similar framework, e.g. Grails) • MySql (Or comparable) • AJAX/JavaScript • XHTML, CSS • Agile methodologies (E.g.
