I have been working with Rails since early 2007, when I took Will Sobel and Armando Fox’s “Web 2.0 Programming with Ruby on Rails” UC Berkeley course in Spring 2007. I have since done a few small apps on my own, contract work, scalability research with UC Berkeley’s RAD Lab, and applications for Venrock. I served as a teaching assistant in my former class for three semesters in a row and graduated in May 2009. I recently launched my first company, Outspokes (http://outspokes.com), running on Rails and jQuery.
