After several years of amateur Rails work, I transitioned to professional web programming recently. A portfolio of my work, Rails and non-, can be found here.

Rails work includes the expected bits (HTML, CSS) but also a fair bit of work with MongoDB, Comet, Juggernaut and DB/2, among other less-standard tools.

Before Rails, I spent ten years on full-time systems programming, especially on operating systems and frameworks. Embedded, mobile and multimedia are previous specialties.

I don’t update this site often, so I may or may not be looking for a job at any given time. I could be interested in freelance work, your schedule and hours permitting.

Unrelatedly, anybody know how to get this site to realize I have new blog posts?
