Working With Rails

Hands-on trial-by-fire experience with Gentoo, Rails, Drupal, PHP, jQuery…more flavors of Windows than ought to exist, PBX’s, security, ColdFusion, DataFlex, NetWare, Apache, mongrel, swiftiply…usw. Google bends when I walk by.

Day-to-day, I run three computers on separate OS’s, a number of shells, and the occasional virtual machine…and every once in a while, I shut it all down, let the AC catch up, and go outside. If I can’t help you, I frequently know someone who can, and if I don’t know yet, I’ll say so.

Finally, and on a personal note, I deliberately try to keep a patient, thoughtful, and patently positive personality. Swing dance, humor, and jumping out of my own limited understandings are things I try to do with some regularity; I also try to spend some time keeping up with my German.
