Working With Rails

Cassio Marques is a Brazilian developer who loves to develop software and solve intricate problems. His main interests are web development, algorithms and programming languages.

He has professional experience with many different programming languages, including C and C++, Java, Javascript and Ruby. Also, he has a bachelors degree in Scientific Computing, from Universidade de Taubaté. He writes regularly at cassiomarques.wordpress.com

At Surgeworks LLC he is part of the Brazilian Ruby on Rails team.

He loves open source and try to help as much as possible, creating new libraries or writing documentation. When not sitting in front of a computer, Cássio can be found reading books or riding his skateboard.

He’s the author of the Active Record Validations and Callbacks Rails Guide

He’s a commiter for the Brazilian-Rails project, which aims at making life easier for Brazilian Railers.

He has created some other Rails plugins which can be seen at my github page and has done lots of work at translating Rails and Agile docs to Brazilian Portuguese.
