...develop software is not just a work or a way to earn some money (actually earn money is an important part of the process :D ), it’s a passion, programming my focus is having fun, developing application that matters, with good experience for who will use it. My experience with that starts in 1998 with Java Applets for NetSite and after that I’ve learned more and more about Java and other languages.
...after some time developing commercial code, I decided to learn different languages, and the best way that I found to do that was contributing with other developers on open source projects. Since then I started to help others developers on their projects, and also my own projects using Java, Ruby on Rails, Groove
I’ve started to study some Agile Methods, like XP and Scrum. Reading and implementing these agile methods I found the main reason of software: “Help people, delivering valuable software. Software that matters!”
