Cayce Balara has worked in the software industry since 1994, spending more than half of that time working for major software vendors, including 6 years as an implementation consultant for PeopleSoft, Inc. as well as 5 years as an Applications Delivery Manager at a major transportation company. Cayce has been the project manager, technical lead or primary developer for software development and implementation projects involving web-based software applications and the integration of multiple technology platforms, with budgets from five thousand to over two million dollars.

Cayce’s knowledge of technology spans multiple fields, with an emphasis on business process improvement through intelligent software design and development. In 2008 Cayce got tired of trying to get his employer to see the beauty and applicability of Ruby and Rails, quit his job, and convinced his best friend to join him in starting a company focusing on providing sound technology solutions in bite-sized chunks.
