I’m fairly new to the Rails community but have already fallen in love with it. I have a strong background in web development ranging from server administration to development in PHP/MySQL, Python, ColdFusion, and especially development focused around open source technologies such as the Plone CMS, Zope, WikiMedia, and WordPress.

I have been developing in Rails since May of 2008 and have never looked back to my past languages as Rails simply does things the right way. I have been constantly impressed with the things I have learned from Rails and the simple approach that Ruby and Rails have taken to make web development a pleasure rather than a burden.
