I’m not as I would call it, a “day coder”. My enthusiasm for technology goes beyond merely sowing up for work, cranking out code then leaving it all behind at 5 p.m.
Although I have a degree in Computer Information Systems from the University of Louisville, much of what I know wasn’t learned in school. I’ve been programming and hacking on computers since I was 12 starting with Perl on Linux and working with most every other main stream language from there. Since finding Ruby and Rails I’ve been hard pressed to justify using any other language on projects. Working with Rails is the most rewarding because of the limitless possibilities of what can be produced, and in such little time.
I enjoy interacting with clients and helping them convert dreams and ideas into reality. I’ve let and collaborated on projects ranging from small websites with a minimal user base, to global web applications supporting thousands of users each day.
