Started my move into the open source world via Bravadosoft where we are developing a socially aware business data mining application using pylons, a python port of rails. Even before that started I had heard about rails, tried it out, and was blown away with how the design philosophy and usage of the framework resonated with me. Rails lured me in and Ruby won me over.
