I am a philosopher of all things Ruby and Rails. My metaphysical speculations have lead me to discovering has_finder gem (now called named_scope, part of Rails 2.1). I am currently working on Arel, the love-child of the Relational Algebra and Linq. This will hopefully be part of Rails 2.2+.

Other projects I am working on:

- Screw.Unit, the most awesomest Behavior-Drive testing framework for Javascript. - Rkid, a replacement for Rdoc, leveraging the coverage and callsite data generated by Rcov. - jQuery Database, The sensationally popular relational database that runs in the browser. - Effen, the Concrete Javascript framework.

jQuery, Merb, DataMapper, and Git are part of my technological sublime.
