Working With Rails

I am a Computer Science Analyst graduate, from Argentina. I´ve been programming since 1999, when I was just 12 years old, and programming professionaly since 2002.

During all those years of development, I became an expert working with HTML, CSS, DOM, Ruby On Rails, PHP, MySQL, Javascript, AJAX, Prototype, JAVA, Flash and ActionScript.

I´ve developed full E-Commerce Webstores and Backends, Warehouse management systems, my own CRM for software companies (PerClient.com), more than 20 websites, more than 25 single and multiplayer games (with my own multiplayer PHP engine), 3 Facebook Apps and 3 Android Mobile Apps.

I also have good knowledge of Server configuration, being able to setup and mantain a full Unix server, with Apache, Mongrel Clusters, MySQL databases and even MySQL replication.

As the owner of 14 sites, I have earned a lot of experience in Search Engine Optimization, and monetizing all kind of sites and online services.

I have also developed great skills using Adobe Illustrator and Corel Photo-Paint, to edit images and textures generation, Sony Vegas to edit videos and effects, Nuendo and Cubase to edit audio, and 3D Studio to create 3D models and animations.

I’ve made integrations with external systems as Credit Card merchants, PayPal, US Mail Companies (UPS, USPS, Fedex), Online Fax Gateways, Facebook, Yahoo Stores, Google Maps, Google AdSense, Google Analytics, AdMob, GeoIP and Allopass SMS Gateway. And integrated barcodes and PDFs generation and printing to Ruby On Rails applications.

I’m also used to work with Agile Development Techniques, using Subversion and Tickets Tools, and have run my own company during three years, with three developers under my command, with great results.

I’m also used to work with unit and functional testing and Rcov to ensure my applications are working as expected at every time.
