I’ve been working in Rails off and on for over 4 years as a freelance developer. Before that I worked at GE Healthcare as a senior software engineer and Adobe Systems as a Web developer and team lead.

I’ve ditched .NET, Java, Perl, and PHP in favor of Ruby and Rails and haven’t looked back. Though I do occasionally help my friends and clients with that when they need it. But I often show them how Rails can be a better alternative for many projects.

I’m also getting back into some of my other passions: fiction writing, film and screenwriting, and documentaries.
