I am a diverse software engineer, consultant, Agile practitioner (since 2004). I have been primarily developing web based applications for the past 8 years.

This has included online Share Trading apps for various trading houses, Mapping based reporting solutions for Local Authorities, Risk Analysis software for JP Morgan Chase, a team/group collaboration tool for a Start up and until the very recent past backend metadata processing for the BBC.

I am a programming language enthusiast and I love hacking Arduinos. Last year I was one of the co-inspirators of the Scotland on Rails 2008 conference. This year I presented about using Rails in the enterprise during the 2009 run.
