Working With Rails

Snooty Monkey, LLC is a loose collective of programming and design professionals started in 2007 by Sean Johnson in the city of Chapel Hill, NC. Snooty Monkey was started for three reasons:

1. To create applications that take pride in solving a problem in a simple, intuitive and polished way.

2. To provide on outlet for craftsmen of applications to serve people that appreciate the craft of good software.

3. To explore the viability of the small business in the community of Web applications, inspired by the small businesses in my real world community of Chapel Hill.

I’m Sean Johnson, I got a Commodore VIC-20 computer for Christmas when I was 6 (which was a long time ago) and ever since I’ve spent a portion of most everyday designing and writing software. These days I use Macintoshes, not Commodores, and I’m taller now, but one thing that has only grown stronger over the years is my passion for good user experience and simplicity in software.

I’m a father, a husband, a hockey goalie… and I dabble in philosophy. (See that deeply ponderous look?)
