Working With Rails

I am currently employed at the Sr. Web Consultant for ZepSolar, however, we are transferring my work over to a new team who will maintain it for he years to come.

I did for Zep what I always do, rescue a project that has grown beyond in complexity beyond what the amateur developer can handle, in which case, it comes to me and I re-build it or re-factor it correctly.

I am a full-stack developer. Ruby, Rails, HTML5, CSS3, JQuery, UI design, server config & setup, deployment scripting and change management. I have also trained Ruby and Rails developers around the world, from Amsterdam to Bangalore to Los Angeles.

If it doesn’t have tests, it is broken. If it wasn’t refactored it shouldn’t be committed. If you can’t gracefully back something out, you are in trouble!
