I like test driving things, making sure what is being built will be profitable and balancing the risk of project portfolios when real money is on the line. I do that using all the tools from agile/extreme programming, kanban/lean/TPS and real options theory.

Prior to finding ruby and rails I wrote a lot of multithreaded Java test harnesses as a SDET for thePlatform:”http://www.theplatform.com testing their APIs prior to them being acquired by Comcast.
