I have been a Notes developer for a long time. Despite the many disparaging comments I have seen about it, I believe it is still a very powerful development environment for group and workflow applications. However, to better address relational database-backed Web applications (and because I needed a new challenge!) I have been learning and working with Rails since early 2006. I consider it similar in philosophy and basic approach to Notes.

I am interested in working on useful Web applications that expand my knowledge of Ruby and Rails.
