Working With Rails

We’re currently looking for a Ruby on Rails contractor (work for hire) for the development of a web-based application aimed at supporting and enhancing the driving experience (aka Fahrvegnugen!).

Our long-term goal is to develop ongoing relationships with great Ruby on Rails developers for our consistent stream of fun projects.

ABOUT YOU
You’re a well-rounded web application developer with significant experience in the Ruby on Rails framework and Linux administration. You are resourceful and creative when presented with unfamiliar tasks. You have experience consulting independently and can distill complex technical details into relevant information for project managers.

LOGISTICS
Start Date: ASAP, preferably no later than July 23
Project Completion Date: August 21 (initial working version) with ongoing enhancements to follow.
Location: Living in or near San Francisco is preferred, but if not, you should be accustomed to working remotely and communicating efficiently.
Compensation: We will require a quote once the project is awarded and details provided.
