iCrossing, a global digital marketing company, is looking for an experienced senior Rails developer to help our VP of Enterprise Applications disrupt the current crop of corporate web-based applications. You’ll be developing simple, elegant, and innovative solutions for us using your favorite framework: Rails. We’ll be honest, on occasion, you’ll have to edit some legacy PHP code, write VBScripts, tweak some C#, and handle some system maintenance, but it’s all part of being a senior developer.

If you’re the right person, you have a deep interest in the web, development, and enjoy working in a user-focused, team-based environment. Passion is an absolute must; if you’re looking for a standard corporate IT gig, this is not the job for you. You have at least 3 years with hand-coded web development, with a minimum of one year developing Rails. As a senior developer, you must know how to develop web applications from the ground up - from database schema design to application architecture to javascript and css - and have experience managing other developers. Ideally, you also have some experience with agile development, tdd, version control, unix/windows systems, and C# .Net coding skills.
