We are currently seeking a Ruby on Rails Web Developer to join our Web Department.

This position will provide support in all phases of development for all GWPI websites, which includes planning, implementation, conversion and maintenance of both current and future projects. This is a challenging and key position requiring experience with rapidly developing web applications, and the ability to deliver projects on time with high-quality results.

Required Skills/Experience:
*1+ years of professional experience developing websites using Ruby on Rails
*Working understanding of the Model View Controller framework
*Knowledge of and demonstrated experience with JavaScript
*A working knowledge of relational databases, including MySQL
Scripting (Ruby/Perl/Bash), Configuring Apache
*Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
*Demonstrate excellent communication skills
*Work effectively on multiple tasks

Desirable Skills:

Any of the following experience would be beneficial but is not required:
Mongrel, Capistrano, Webistrano, GIT, Subversion, XHTML, CSS, Prototype/Scriptaculous, Linux server admin , Web Services, Java, J2EE, Tomcat, Mod-jk
