Polar News Company LLC is seeking experienced software developers to
build a local news platform from the ground up in Ruby on Rails &
MySQL. You have experience building user-focused, scalabale web
applications, are an independant and creative thinker, and have a
strong desire to take ownership of software projects at an early-stage
company. Links to current projects a huge plus.
BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
5+ years experience developing database-backed web applications.
Familiarity with Ruby on Rails & MySQL a plus.
Comfortable with agile software development practices.
Excellent communication skills with both engineers and non-engineers
