**A Bit About the Role**

As a Grockit Engineer you will work with like-minded innovators to design, build and maintain applications using Rails, Node.js and other cool technologies.

**Some of the Things We're Looking For**

-Mastery of Ruby on Rails
-Mastery of Javascript, both in the browser and server-side in Node.js
-Expertise in object-oriented design, design patterns and how they apply to Ruby and Javascript
-Solid data modeling techniques (using MySQL, MongoDB and Redis)
-Experience with performance and scalability issues
-Experience with or eagerness to learn agile, iterative, and test-driven development methods
-Experience with automated testing and continuous integration (we use TeamCity)
-Ability to work in a fast-paced (but low stress), collaborative environment
