Compensation: $80-140K/year

We are developing the next generation, web-based, transaction-processing platform that will fundamentally change the environment for merchant transactions and services, and through an innovative set of API’s we enable a new ecosystem for application developers. This business is backed by Tier 1 Venture Capital Firms, and we have real customers. Due to rapid growth we are expanding our software engineering team, including locations in San Diego County (Carlsbad & Downtown San Diego), and are seeking proven Ruby on Rails Developers. We offer a fast-paced, dynamic, and challenging environment for those who possess the skills and attitude to succeed.

Position includes:

- Working collaboratively with other top engineers both locally and remotely
- Working within an Agile Development process
- Analyzing and studying complex system requirements
- Translation of design specs into clean, concise, maintainable software
- Test, debug and refine software to produce the required product
- Enhance software to increase performance and improve system efficiency

Requirements:

- Proficiency in Ruby on Rails, Ruby, Rails, MySQL, Haml, and Sass
- Have worked within Cloud-hosted environments
- Proven written & verbal communication skills
- B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5 Year minimum experience, and 1 year minimum with Ruby on Rails
- Solid analytical and problem solving skills
- Spanish speaking is a plus
