Working With Rails

City Electrical Factors are looking for a Ruby on Rails developer to work in our IT department in Durham, UK.

CEF is the United Kingdom's leading electrical wholesale network with almost twice as many distribution outlets as our nearest competitor. Our web team is responsible for the development of public facing websites for CEF and some of our our subsidiary companies, along with some internal tools and B2B integration systems.

The ideal candidate would have experience of the following technologies:

* Ruby on Rails (commercial experience preferred but not essential)
* Standards compliant HTML and CSS
* jQuery
* Git version control
* Deployment with Capistrano
* Rspec and Cucumber testing frameworks
* MySQL and MongoDB database systems

Our webservers run on Ubuntu Linux and we develop on Apple Macs, so experience of these systems would be a plus.
