Ajungo (http://beta.ajungo.com) is a very well funded startup that has just set up its offices in San Francisco, CA. Ajungo is a social travel website that helps users connect with friends, other travelers and locals in cities, on cruises and at events so you never have to say, “I wish I would have known you were going to be here!”
We have already built out our beta site (http://beta.ajungo.com) and are now looking for someone to help us take the site to launch!!!
We are looking for a CTO/lead developer and to build a team around that person, we are looking for a real teammate!
Required skills:
Ruby (on Rails) for framework
JQuery – with a heavy focus on interactivity
Rails 2.x
Authentication APIs (Facebook, Twitter, etc)
Strong DB Modeling skills
Indexing experience (Ferret, xapian)
Git experience
Social Networking
Desired skills:
- Management experience
- Deploying experience
- Social personality
