We are a building a platform to become the next generation marketplace that would facilitate complex sales/auctions. We are a self-funded start up based in London and Slovenia are looking for people with vision and passion to join and make our team better as we solve hard problems. We’re currently a team of 2 people. Our solution leverages , Ruby, Ruby on Rails (ROR), MySQL, nginx/apache, so experience on these platforms a huge plus. We're well grounded, but our goals are high, which is why we need bold, inspired, relentless people to help us achieve them.

Core engineer
We're looking for a strong technical leader ready to go all the way when it comes to building exciting new features and compelling experiences that will help us redefine the online marketplace space. You have a vision, yet you also know how to execute and get things done. When you zero in, you're more effective in one or two good hours than a lesser developer's all-nighter, which is why you understand that working smarter > working harder. But you still do both.

You:
- Consider yourself an open-source Samurai.
- Feel right at home building core features in Ruby on Rails.
- Write code so clean, fast, and elegant, you might just hang it on your wall.
- Have rock solid MySQL and relational db skills.
- Know JS, jQuery, AJAX, and JSON.
- Love finding solutions to complex problems and putting them to work in a way that scales.
- Are disciplined and efficient in your approach to architecture and stability.
- Know, or would like to learn agile development using SCRUM.

Position is full-time; salary and stock-compensation based on experience.
