Working With Rails

We're building the best online experience in the world of television and video. We're profitable. We believe in working smart rather than just hard, and are looking for Rails engineers to join our fun and talented team. Our servers handle about a million users a day, so if you're interested in pushing Rails to succeed at this level, drop us a line.

■Quick daily standups to guarantee good flow of communication
■Agile software development that's pragmatic, not dogmatic
■Everyone tests, builds, and ships. Step up and own a deployment - if it breaks, fix it. Waiting for the X person to come and fix the Y problem just isn't how we work.

Requirements:

■Shipped some Rails sites before - we love fast learners but are really looking for someone to hit the ground running
■We use jQuery and Javascript throughout our site, so if you're solid there it's a big plus
■Have a great attitude - we enjoy working together, and hope you would too

Skills that'll land you first in the queue:

■Front-to-back Rails development
■Caching (via Memcache) & performance in Rails
■Rspec/BDD
■Cucumber/Integration testing
■Bonus points if you've shipped a high-traffic Rails site or published a Gem or Plugin
