Working With Rails

Join our team and create an exciting entertainment/social network platform that connects users with industry giants like Def Jam, Disney, Sony, and more. Our board of directors include some of the most well-known Hollywood movie and music producers. We are looking for a team player who wants to be a part of this rare opportunity and develop a truly innovative web product.

Daily Tasks:
- Contribute in the continuing effort of keeping the product code base optimized
- Work with internal staff to maintain and update product CMS
- Work with product architects to develop new features and frontend aspects of the app
- Lead and train junior developers
- Maintain migration schema, RSpecs tests

The ideal candidate is a Ruby/Rails expert who:
- Has 2~3 years of experience in building commercial projects
- Has experience in building high-traffic Rails sites
- Solid understanding of deploy project in scalable, cloud infrastructure. Experienced with Heroku, Amazon EC2, etc
- Resourceful. Team player. Worked in Agile software development environment

Pluses:
- Fluent in jQuery or hands-on javascript
- Experienced in database query optimization, MySQL
- Worked with Memcache
