alumni and backed with more than $10 million in venture funding.
Ooyala provides an end-to-end platform to power the distribution, and
monetization of high-quality video content over the web.

We power video for thousands of sites including Warner Brothers,
Slide, Digg, Electronic Arts, Bebo, TVGuide, and National Geographic.
Come join us and work with some of the most advanced video technology
on the web, or help build out our distributed infrastructure for
processing, delivering, and analyzing millions of hours of content
(that's hundreds of years of content!) each month.

We have openings in our frontend applications, infrastructure, and
operations teams.

We're looking for:
- People who are excited to learn and explore new technologies (we've
explored the depths of Flash video, run extensive MapReduces on
Hadoop, implemented extensions to the Thrift compiler, and are
actively exploring HBase).
- Proficient programmers who aren't afraid to learn new languages (we
use Actionscript/Flex, Ruby (including Rails), and some Java and C++).
- Hackers who are able to finesse their way around a linux command
line.
- Engineers who have developed solid software engineering and design
skills.
