Requirements
• Passion for website usability and intuitive, delightful user experiences
• Ability to write clean code that works, is readable, maintainable and follows best practices and coding standards on schedule.
• Fluency in a variety of languages such as Ruby, Java, Perl, Python, C/C++
• Ability to lead the design of complex distributed architectures and serve as a role model to senior engineers on the team.
• Solid understanding of OO design, languages, algorithms, data structures, networking, database design & optimization.
• Proven ability to quickly learn new languages and technologies as necessary.
• Extensive experience working with a web development framework (Django, Rails, .NET, Catalyst, JSP, etc).
• Extensive experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX.
• Familiarity with Webserver/service technologies, including Apache, JSON, SOAP, and REST.
• Experience with agile development processes and scrum in particular.
• 8+ years experience in software development with 3 or more in management.
• BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

Bonus Points
• Extensive database development experience and SQL proficiency.
• Experience working in an Open Source internet platforms.
