Our Dallas, TX. based client is a veteran of Internet marketing. Formed in 1995, they foresaw a need for marketing solutions specific to the online medium. They’ve been evolving ever since to meet the demands of clients who want to maximize their interactive potential.

They grew out of an agency where brand development is second nature. A number of shops provide similar services, but not many can back them up with a résumé that includes over two decades of branding experience. They leverage this experience to develop marketing strategies and technology solutions that help their clients build brands online.

In 2006, billings were $76 million. The team includes over 60 marketing professionals specializing in strategic planning, management, media, creative, production and web development.

The Opportunity:
Front-End Web Developer With RoR

What The Role Is All About:
Take creative design concepts and work with the team to take those concepts online
Hand coding standards compliant HTML/XHTML/CSS
Strong understanding of web standards & JavaScript (including AJAX)
Experience with Ruby on Rails or other MVC frameworks
Experience dealing with diverse browsers and platforms
Experience with version control such as Subversion

NON-TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Good verbal and written communication skills, must work well with tight deadlines and a strong desire to learn new technologies. Strong attention to detail so as not to flake out on everyone around you and let the team down.
