Aurora Feint is an iPhone gaming start-up. Two years ago we created the first of a series of hit games for the iPhone called Aurora Feint and now we're focused on the leading social gaming platform for the iPhone called OpenFeint. With hits like Pocket God, Sentinel 2, Stick Wars in our developer community and over 2 Million active players we're making big waves...google us and you'll see.

We are looking for two Ruby on Rails Developers to join our team:

Web Developer/Rails

Job Summary:
You will work with an A+ team of talent in a fast paced environment where your daily work has significant impact. Reporting to the VP of Engineering, you will be responsible for engineering our Web Presence which includes a Corporate Site, Platform informational site, Customer Support and Developer site. You will work closely to with the VP of Marketing and Graphic Design team to define and execute on our expanding web development needs. Web developers looking to polish Ruby on Rails skills, iPhone development, and iPhone gaming are strongly encouraged to apply - if you have some of these skills we definitely want to talk to you!

Desired Traits:
* Flexible: Our needs change on a daily even hourly basis. Ability to manage multiple projects and deal with ambiguity a must. Grace under pressure is a requirement here.
* A Doer and a Thinker: Ability to roll up your sleeves and contribute to decision making is important. Having just one of these skills is not enough, so come self-motivated and maybe a little stubborn :)
* A Perfectionist: You want to get it right and you work tirelessly to get there, multiple iterations don't put you off because you want to be proud of your work when it goes out the door.

Job Responsibilities:
* Participate in the architecture, development and usability of Aurora Feint's web presence.
* Corporate Site, Platform Site, Developer Site and Dashboard, Customer Support Sites.
* Design and deploy web interfaces for internal administration tools.
* Get what needs to get done - we love multiple hat wearers here.

Required Web Development Skills:
* 2+ years experience designing web applications (please provide examples)
* 2+ years experience with modern web protocols and markup languages - XHTML, CSS, RSS, HTTP, Javascript
* Experience taking Adobe CS layouts and art to a final web site
* A refined sense of UI design with experience building content rich web sites
* Thorough understanding of software engineering best practices - OOP, DRY, MVC, TDD
* Working knowledge of Ruby on Rails, with at least one shipped product (please provide examples)

Big Plus:
* Understanding of Graphic Design practices or an Aesthetic Eye
* Familiarity with Scrum or Xp
* Active Open Source development
* Gamers strongly encouraged to apply, especially iPhone gamers
* Expert with database concepts (schema normalization, optimization, and scaling)

Mobile Platform Engineer

Job Summary:
You will work with an A+ team of talent in a fast paced environment where your daily work has significant impact. Reporting to the VP of Engineering, you will be responsible for Client/Server Side development of the OpenFeint platform. You will work closely to with the Engineering team to manage platform updates, documentation, and customer support. You will become an expert on all things OpenFeint.

You are:

Core Required Skills:
* Expert with database concepts (schema normalization, optimization, and scaling)
* Expert Ruby on Rails with several delivered projects (must show examples)
* Expert C/C++ / Objective-C with Cocoa and UIKit
* Experience building Mac, iPhone or Android applications
* Thorough understanding of software engineering best practices (OOP, DRY, MVC, TDD, etc.)
* Familiarity with Scrum or Xp

Other Desired Skills:
* Active Open Source development experience
* Experience in the Games industry: Production, XBLA/PSN, or Developer Tools
* Unity experience
