Working With Rails

We are looking for someone with the skill and desire to help build an outstanding software development team (not merely a team of outstanding developers). Someone with industrial-strength technical chops, plus the initiative and human touch to mentor and develop other team members. Someone who comes in every day expecting to learn, contribute, teach, and enjoy.

Details:

· Passion for solving business problems through innovative, compelling technology solutions

· Master Software Craftsmen – at least 5 years of experience, expert in Object Oriented design, design patterns, TDD/BDD, refactoring; proven ability to develop large-scale sustainable applications; ability to mentor other team members

· Ruby on Rails Expert – at least 2-3 years of real world Ruby/Rails experience; someone the rest of the team would readily look to for “Rails way” design expertise

· Web Application Veteran – adept at technologies related to building rich web applications, including: JavaScript, Ajax, Prototype and/or jQuery, XHTML/CSS, REST

· Agile Practitioner/Evangelist – committed to the Agile Manifesto and related values, principles and practices; ability to help improve adoption of agile practices and inculcate agile values

· Bachelors degree in CS or related discipline is preferred; other applicants will be considered with strong work experience
