Working With Rails

What is the role?

- As Rails developer you will be part of the dynamic and innovative Truvo Labs team and work on the next generation web- applications and sites;

- You’ll use the latest technology;

- You have freedom to think of and build solutions independently;

- Truvo Labs wants you to use 20% of your time to develop your own new concepts;

- Truvo Labs ambition is to develop and launch online concepts that will shake things up in the current market, you will help us directly in doing that;

What knowledge/experience do we expect?

- HBO / WO education

- Ruby on Rails (>1 year of demonstrable experience), SVN, Git and Deprec

- Linux (Ubuntu) / Scripting, Apache, MySQL and ModRails (Passanger)

- Object oriented programming and modelling

- Experience using ‘DRY’ web frameworks like Django, Rails and/or Symfony

- Knowledge of Ajax, HTML, CSS ‘table-less’ design and Javascript in general
