Working With Rails

Currently building a small, core engineering team. Specifically interested in designer/developers and UX designers. Contact us if you are:

• looking for a big role in a small, focused, agile environment
• crazy for simple, usable user experiences: UI and developer APIs

Senior Engineer 
• experienced designing large consumer databases and services
• experienced delivering share-nothing architecture, caching strategies, sharding
• fluent with operational, network, code security concerns
• a ruby / rails ringer. You've developed and guided a few rails apps up to scale
 
UX Designer
• crafty with Ajax and javascript. judicial when you uses them.
• a sharp css/html layout,
• experienced designing consumer services
• you are a designer, but also comfortable coding as well. Likely spending more time on the front-end, but not shy getting into he back-end as well.
• experienced developing in Ruby Rails is a major plus

Responsibilities 
• Translate business conversations / priorities into functional capabilities.  Test it.  Get it into production quick.  Then learn more there and react.
• Mature our design, APIs, codebase as the community grows
• Performance, security and operational effectiveness
