Kiha Software, a well-funded startup, is introducing a novel user experience platform for mobile devices. Mobile communications and mobile devices are about to evolve in exciting ways! Kiha software is on the leading edge of this wave to provide customers with a new and innovative mobile experience.
As our Web Developer, you will be responsible for developing the web interface for Kiha’s services. This will entail implementing an email and scheduling application with online/offline behavior. It will help if you are a mobile device enthusiast and have at least passing familiarity with the various mobile device platforms. This is a startup environment, so flexibility, a can-do attitude, and team-oriented mentality are essential.We’d love to hear what products you’ve shipped!
Qualifications
• 4+ years development experience on Linux platforms delivering web applications for a range of browsers.
• 2+ years experience with JavaScript and Ajax
• Experience with javascript frameworks like prototype, dojo, or SproutCore is a big plus.
• 2+ years experience with Ruby on Rails
• Java experience is a plus
• Good web page design skills
• Working experience with REST is a plus
• Knowledge of Adobe Air or Google Gears a plus.
• XML, RPC, XSLT and related technologies are highly desired
