Hi all, Peer-to-Patent (http://www.peertopatent.org) is an early adopter of rails. We're re-examining the infrastructure for with an eye towards expansion, scalability and all that. In the two years since we first launched, cloud computing has expanded and rails has expanded. So there ought to be some new options. So here's my question.

• What are some of the new or best hosting alternatives for a larger rails site?

I'm familiar with EngineYard and Slicehost, looking to see what is out there that can handle some scale and also can handle a mixed infrastructure such as Rails in combination with SOLR java services.
