What industry value does the Ruby or Rails Certification currently have?
While a RoR certification might not hold much prestige within the Ruby community, it could open doors at other organizations...not everyone knows how to interpret a GitHub account.
Certifications by MS, Oracle(earlier Sun) have good industry value.
Are there any add ons for taking Ruby/Rails Certification. I don't see much importance given to open source technology certifications.
I just wanted to know more about this and enlighten my knowledge on the real value of Ruby/Rails certification from industry perspective.
