Hello, I have an application in Ruby on Rails (2.3.8) with MySQL and I want to make an installer or a stand alone version to distribute my application, similar to the Windows installer, so that any person, without much technical knowledge to use.

Does anyone know how I can do?

There are some other tool to obfuscate / prevent users to get the source code of my application (I do not like it but it is company policy)?
