Best server for production

Best server for production
I'm running a cluster on linode. NGinx has started to bog down because of a bottleneck writing log files. I'm wondering what other people deploy to and what servers they use for production etc.
I am married to linode. But I'm not married to NGinx. I'm really just looking for a rock-solid, super-fast stack.

thin is a good option too
