Rails controller and cpanel rewrites

Rails controller and cpanel rewrites
I'm having an issue with cpanel at the moment. When attempting to access a controller via the rewrite, I am instead presented with only the unrendered markup. Accessing the controller directly (url:port) works correctly.
Is this a known issue? I've been unable to find a solution online. My host has been of little assistance, so I'm turning here.
Example app: darkcityfourthstreet.com:12010/blogs (Direct link to controller) beta.darkcityfourthstreet.com/blogs (Via rewrite)
Any and all help is appreciated.
