We’re different to normal web agencies; we specialise in designing and implementing beautiful social sites that get people all excited, and do a little something (and sometimes a lot) to improve the world. What’s more, we do it using fresh, hot, new techniques and bespoke technologies that keep us at the leading edge.
Yoomee is all about bringing people together on the web through simple, online services with a winning appeal. We love doing this with social entrepreneurs, Third Sector organisations, altruistic businesses and generally anybody that shares our passion for making the world a better place.
Our closely knit team has years of experience. On top of this, we’re one of the few companies in the UK using a new programming environment called Ruby on Rails. This technology enables us to spend less time on the menial tasks of web development and instead concentrate on building the unique features of your social network.
One last thing, in November 2008 we won UKBI Incubated Business of the Year 2008 – a national award presented to us by the BBC’s Evan Davis – of which we’re quite proud.
